Liked: The location of the property was great because it was centrally located.
Disliked: The property itself was disappointing, at best. As some others have said, this looks to have been an apartment building that was converted to a hotel. There was direct access to the property from the street, and because our room was on the perimeter of the property, it seemed unsafe to us when carrying all of our belongings to the room late at night. The room itself was poorly lit, with no light fixtures on the ceilings in the living room or bedrooms so very dim. The restrooms only had lights above the sink, so we could not see well near the toilet or shower. The air vents were covered in thick dust, the overall room itself was dirty, there were no washcloths, and when we requested some, we were told they wouldn't have any until the next day.I considered requesting another room. However, I did not rather searched for a different hotel to accommodate my family of 5. I share that so travelers know that I did not believe this "hotel" would have become satisfactory by merely changing rooms. Because we were leaving early the next day, I just hoped to get to the morning quickly. The beds were comfortable, and it did provide shelter for the night.Having stayed in a different Sonesta ES property in November 2024, which had been recently updated, I had hoped this location would have been as nice. It simply did not meet expectations, and I find it hard to understand how it is being called a hotel.
