The character of the lady...
Liked: The lady at the reception when we checked in and out was very unfriendly. Her name is Marisol. Very unprofessional lady. I would not stay at this hotel again. She lacks good behavior.

Liked: I liked the layout of the room and it was comfortable. But the shower was falling apart (parts falling off) and was leaking. It clearly needs maintenance

Looks good on the outside...
Liked: I liked the location, it wasn't far from the mall (that I didn't go to) and there were good food options nearby (definitely check out the food truck park). The breakfast was decent too. The room and hotel was fine....but only fine.
Disliked: It's that typical Sonesta bait and switch of a hotel that has a nice modern facade to make it look decent from the outside but when you get inside the hotel is extremely dated and seems like it was built in the 90s. I stayed in a Sonesta in Austin and they pulled the same crap.

It was a decent stay...
Liked: The location of the hotel was perfect I felt safe coming and going late by myself.
Disliked: I read the reviews after paying stating the hotel has bugs and one night while in my room a huge water bug comes crawling from behind the tv. I had to kill the bug myself and dispose of it, while doing that I placed my trash can out in front of my door to be cleaned but I had the do not disturb sign up since I didn’t need the room clean just the trash emptied. The following day my trash was emptied and placed back in my room and my room was cleaned as well this was a bit frustrating for me as I had left some personal items out that I would have put up had I anticipated someone would be coming in. Also my room didn’t lock securely enough the latch at the top of the door didn’t actually latch so I had to put a chair in front of my door at night. When I told front desk staff they were more concerned about the door lock than anything else and they blew off anything else I said.
