Booked a room on 8/25/14 for a concert on 10/18/14. Called twice that day to confirm my reservation since I booked so far in advance. We showed up to check into the hotel a half an hour before we had to be at the show, only for the front desk to tell me the hotel was full and that they did not have a room for us to stay in. They offered us a room 20 miles away - I told them that was not going to work because we were out of town and had not only booked in advance, but called twice that day to confirm. They could not tell me why someone didn't mention this issue during the two prior calls that day. They ended up finding us a room next door and it worked out OK, but it took them almost 25 minutes to rectify the situation and we were late for the concert. Overall they did fix the issue but am not satisfied with the lack of communication, and the fact I watched them check in three additional customers after they told us they were at capacity.

BROKEN ELEVATORS RUINED IT

Liked: The room was recently updated and was very comfortable. The bed, including the sofa bed was great.
Disliked: Unfortunately what ruined the stay was that there are only 2 small elevators and one of them was always malfunctioning which left long waits and difficulties in getting to and from the lobby and the room. I was stuck on one of the malfunctioning elevators fortunately only briefly but it was not a good situation. We had to use the stairs which do not lead to the lobby but to the outside and an alarm sounds if you open the door. We had to take our luggage down 9 flights of stairs. The staff was helpful but what could they do to resolve a situation like this.
