Nice hotel.

Liked: The day we checked in (Saturday), everything was perfect. The weather & rain were terrible, but the facilities itself and the staff were amazing! It was not until Sunday morning prior to checking out when we had issues. Myself and my kids woke up around 9am to go get our breakfast before getting on the road to head home. By surprised, walking out into the hallway, it was absolutely pitch black, and couldn’t see a thing down the hallway (3rd floor)!When we got into the room where they did the complimentary breakfast and coffees, there was nothing to eat except cereal, and fruit! No hot food, no coffee. Nothing. We then got told that parts of the hotel had no electricity. It was very hot in the hallways, and most other areas. Thankfully our room still had A/C! We then commenced to at least getting her bags together on a cart to bring down to the truck and just get food on the way home somewhere (having to pay after paying extra for this hotel for the free breakfast)! We then found out all elevators were out of service bc, no electricity! We had to carry bags and other stuff we had brought up and down 3 flights of stairs. Made about 6 trips. All in all, the hotel was okay. I just think they could’ve informed their hotel guests first thing that morning when the power went out! They could’ve also had employees help with anything the guests needed. And we still were charged FULL price!

Liked: The location to the stadiums as well as several great food options all withing walking distance is the biggest benefit of this hotel. The staff at the front desk were polite.
Disliked: The floors were dirty, but they were doing a mass cleaning of the floors while we were there over a weekend. We were rushed out of our room for them to clean in the middle of our stay. Then there was no power on Sunday when checking out so we had to carry all our luggage down 4 flights of stairs, and breakfast was negligible due to the power outage. It is a dated hotel, that has a great location, so if all that is known going into it then that's all there is to it.

Liked: Facility was extremely convenient location to LSU campus, which is why I booked it.
Disliked: Entrance and parking was a little confusing. Staff was a little unfriendly upon check-in and seemed to dislike some questions I had.
