Disappointing

Disliked: The payment of the hotel is different from my credit payment. The hotel issues the payment of 338.43 dollars, but it actually charged me 341.18. I paid for Ms. Li Jing and Mr. Lou Yongqi seperately who have checked on from Nov.14 and checked out on Nov.16.

Good stay

Liked: The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. It also wasn’t too far from Berkeley. I also liked that it had a good sized pool.
Disliked: The pool was a bit cold.

A person's weekend ruined by...

Disliked: I made and paid for a reservation under my friend's name for one night. My friend called to see if an early check in was available, and provided all info, and was told the property had taken the initiative to cancel the res because there was some problem with the credit card. No one contacted her or me to tell us there was a problem. The property doesn’t have the credit card for Booking.com reservations and it was not even check in time, so why would it be canceled as a no-show? Obviously they wanted to charge a premium rate for the room I already paid for, and confirmed with the desk agent the night prior since it was a third party reservation. I am furious as my friend was trying to escape a construction zone. This is not typical of my experience with Booking.com reservations in the past at all.

Liked: Clean, staff was respectful, polite and patient
Disliked: The cost for parking my car, $35. The bed was hard and I could not get comfortable

Liked: Everything is extra and I mean everything even parking. I was surprised they didn't charge for toilet paper. Area not the greatest. Room smelled like cigarettes.
