Short stop in Miami Beach.

Liked: Excellent staff on the front desk. Helpful and friendly. Clean modern room. Easy walk to many places. Good transport links close by.
Disliked: Never saw maid service in four nights. Bins never emptied in that time.

Location, comfortable, noisy, horrible check...

Liked: Comfortable, clean and close to the beach
Disliked: The most important thing: not sound proof.Also the checking in. I got asked to pre-check in online around a month prior to the booking, which I didn’t manage to do myself, so I texted them and they told me it’s fine and that they will do it for me once I got there. In this month I got SPAMMED with 20+ (I just counted) SMS and emails saying the same thing, that I have to pre check in. Once we got there, the receptionist asked if I could pre check in online and gave me the QR code to the SAME LINK I already tried. I told him it didn’t work for me and that I was told this is going to be fixed. He said I should try again. I refused and said that he should do it for me. He said «we only check in guests automatically in emergency cases». I’m sorry??? Why do you even have a receptionist if his only job is to direct people at the QR code for check in? For the money we payed for the hotel, the receptionist should do his job and check the guests in. I tried checking in in front of him, and it didn’t work, I showed him that the only method of paying at their link is with Apple Pay, and I don’t have that. Which he then proceeded to say «oh you can easily add your card to apple pay» I told him I never had and don’t want to have Apple Pay in case my phone got stolen. And instead of him helping me to check in already, he started a discussion with me on Apple Pay and how I should definitely connect it on my phone. Worst check in experience ever

Liked: Art deco vibe and location, bed was super comfy.
Disliked: Shower was poor (very low pressure) and not very hot

A super comfortable stay on...

Liked: An excellent location for Miami Beach. The beach itself is 2-3 short blocks away and Ocean Drive with the famous Art Deco buildings is a walkable distance away either along the beach or via e.g. Collins Avenue. The free trolleys run from the corner of the park in front. The beach is great for viewing the sunrise (arrive 30 minutes or so earlier than the actual sunrise time).The building looks great from the outside and the rooms are fresh and clean. The AC is immaculate. Beds are very comfortable. Sound proofing is not all that good, but earplugs will have you sleeping uninterrupted. There is no breakfast, but we always found breakfast at Joe the Juice (a bit expensive) or a few blocks down. As value for money this is hard to beat. Lyft was convenient from the airport.
Disliked: Nothing worth mentioning at this price point.
