Perfect stay! Will stay again!...

Liked: Our 2 stay in this hotel. Hotel is very nice, clean, staff is very good, free parking in the location, close to the beach, a lot of restaurant close by 1 minute ! ( Italian restaurant, restaurant for breakfast, evening, diner ) I very recommend this place! Wonderful! 5 star! Thank you ! Also the prices if very reasonable and affordable for family and couple !

Disliked: The full process for booking was a total nightmare. The customer service trying to confirm the reservation was horrendous and provided inaccurate information creating an incredible amount of stress and anxiety. I couldn’t cancel my reservation as it was too close to booking. The system recorded another email on my reservation so I didn’t get the details and then I was blamed for the error (so I am aware they are not looking into or correcting it). I spent hours doing their pre verification process, trying to communicate with their customer service, to not getting the details for my reservation. Their response was to tell me I input another parties email (when I only have one email) and thus would not provide any compensation. This was all for a weekend stay. Had I known in advance of their intensive, time consuming pre verification process, I would have just chosen another location. The process went from bad to worse.

Overall the staff was amazing,...

Liked: The location was nice, however, we were very surprised when we arrived and we were staying in a studio apartment.
Disliked: The cleanliness was under par. Around the bathroom faucet had debris and many other items not well cleaned.

I really wanted to like...

Liked: Very close to Newport & Huntington beaches--location is best point. You can walk across the street to Newport beach. Comfy king bed. Spouse loved how clean the room was! Nearby to Balboa Island, restaurants in Costa Mesa, and SNA airport. Good curtains to block out the light. We were able to get a free parking spot each night in the main lot, but it's SoCal where parking spaces are smaller than other states and several tenants had trucks, so it was tight.
Disliked: We had room 208, directly above reception area. There was scant soundproofing in our ceiling and floor. I am a light-to-medium sleeper. Every time the sliding doors opened and closed, we heard and felt it; which was great for very late arrivals from the bars and very early checkouts in the a.m. We heard the little tyke clomping around his room before bedtime. When the next tenants moved in, we could hear when they started the movie at night, and hoped they enjoyed the latest Mission Impossible flik. They then fell asleep with it at the end replaying on the menu screen, but woke up at 3am to stop it. Unfortunately, his emphysema acted up at 6am and he couldn't stop coughing. Hopefully he's having a Dr look into that, as it didn't sound good. I really wanted to like it, due to the cleanliness and close location, but was really disappointed at not much sleep at the hotel, unless nothing awakens you at night; or maybe room 208 was just the room from hell and other rooms are better.?
