Liked: I thought the breakfast provision was scant. On my first visit there was no member of staff to greet or advise.Very good and helpful reception staff. Excellent.
Disliked: I didn’t like the verification arrangement. I found it difficult to manage and I became stressed trying to complete it , especially uploading the photo. I called in a young friend to help me with this and he couldn’t manage it either. This spoiled my entire trip wondering if I would be able to gain access to the hotel. I was using this hotel a few years ago when it was managed by an Italian gentleman. I always liked it and it was much easier to access then. I appreciate you want to provide effective security but the procedure was not easy for me.

Excellent, going back for sure!

Liked: Great location, great staff, easy to find and safe to walk at night. Shopping area nearby and a variety of choices to grab a bite or have a late night beer. Sonder Kensington Gardens offer a complimentary breakfast which was great every morning and my favorite, coffe was offered all day free of charge!
Disliked: The air conditioning might need a service cause the performance was a bit poor at our room at least.

Excellent location, disappointing otherwise

Disliked: Everything is kind of old and the place could really use a renovation. The pictures give a bit of a false image, it’s not as attractive as it looks. The room had a damp, musty smell. The breakfast was only okay - it consisted mostly of very sugary pastries, cereal etc and not a lot of healthy options and no eggs. The vegetables were clearly cut the night before as they were drying up and not fresh. The worst thing was that I booked and paid for a room with a double bed and a desk, but when I arrived I was given a sad room with a small single bed without a desk. Really unacceptable to do that without notifying me or giving some kind of discount. All in all not worth the 175 gbp I paid for one night. You can get a lot better quality in London for that price.

Great stay for solo travelling

Liked: The hotel is in very nice part of London, just accross Hyde Park. It is very queit and safe neigborhood, perfect for solo travelling.
Disliked: The room was a bit smaller than I expected but still big enough for one person.
