Great stay

Liked: A beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting. Friendly and professional staff and immaculate throughout. Allowed me to check in at 9 am. Unbelievable and never happened before.
Disliked: I was in room 102 and even though was a beautiful room the big problem is your underneath the kitchens with extractor fans blowing out throughout the night and extremely noisy. I've booked again in March but will definitely avoid this room. You couldn't sleep with your window open for the noise and even had workmen smoking outside in the morning blowing straight into the bedroom.

Disliked: There was an error on my first booking due to a clerical error (email incorrect) at the hotel causing our first booking to not confirm although we had paid the money. I then rebooked and paid more for the rooms. One of my guests Mr Snell is infirm and easily stressed and because of the threat of a double payment charge, Decided not to travel. We have been refunded the earlier error and thank you but not yet the cancellation of his room leaving me to cover the cost. I will use booking.com again and appreciate it not your problem but think it would be useful for you to tighten confirmation responses from hotels. Best wishes roger patey
