Found the the staff to...
Liked: The suites were well appointed and comfortable.
Disliked: There was no working elevator in the building, had to lug suitcases up five floors of stairs from the parade to our room and down again at check out. The staff was almost non-existent, check out times were quite early at 10 am. Upon visiting the pool area we received very unwelcoming looks and overall vibes as we had our 5 year old girl with us. (She was very well behaved and respectful) and still got dirty looks and scowls the whole time at the resort. Been there before and they used to have a kids splash area in the pool area. It has been removed, and now feels like an industrial pool area in a basement.

Liked: Everything was great. The size of the unit, comfy beds, location, and the view. The only downfall was elevator not working.

Loved our suite, we will...
Liked: We really lived our suite, except the dryer didn’t work well and the tub didn’t drain properly. We had to purchase coffee filters that appropriate for the coffee maker as the ones provided were not the right ones.

Nice location, spacious suites, but...
Liked: Spacious two- bedroom suite. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: Lots of construction, elevator out of order, poor directions on how to get from our room to pool area and main lobby (through the parking garage…). Honestly the place hasn’t aged that well. We stayed at the Solara in 2018 and everything was great. It’s just not the same anymore. Even the 2 bedroom suite that we had, though spacious, felt like it could use a reno. We weren’t informed beforehand that we would be staying in a building without a working elevator. That is honestly ridiculous, if I had brought an elderly family member they wouldn’t have been able to get around. Blanket was missing from the sleeper sofa and when I went to the front desk (nobody picked up the phone at first), someone brought over a flimsy cotton throw instead of a blanket. The customer service was just ‘meh’.

Good but needs improvement for...
Liked: The late check in of 4:00 and early check out of 10:00 is disappointing at this price point. We felt that the inconvenience of the check in and check out time was taking advantage of guests and their time and money. We also feel having paid for a deluxe room we should have been compensated for having to trek 6 flights of stairs everytime we came and went to our 4th floor suite due to having no working elevator.
