Top quality city hotel with...

Liked: Good location. 10-15 minute walk from Union Station. Room had view of CN tower and Rogers stadium, both very close to walk to. Relatively close to streetcar links and subway. Staff very courteous and professional. Nice room, good bathroom facilities, nice shower and bath. Heated floor a treat in winter. House-keeping tidied each day (not like some hotels that have kept house-keeping on request since the pandemic). Surrounding area felt safe (relatively to the rest of Toronto) we travel a lot by foot and no concern coming back at night.Hotel is close (10 minute walk) to where a lot of tours depart for Niagara Falls trips.Number of vegan places for breakfast brunch within 15-20 minute walk (Bloomers bakery, Bunners, Fresh Kitchen + Juice. Evviva is 5-10 minutes away, not vegan but has full vegan menu) if that's your thing.
Disliked: Nothing not to like, just nothing that extra bit special that would tip the rating into exceptional. Feels like you are getting what you pay for and you are paying for quality room and good staff.
