Liked: Looks really nice driving in and walking into reception. Nice having the option to book a room with a spa pool on the balcony.
Disliked: Asked if we could have a bottle of bubbles in our room for our arrival as we were celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary and travelled from the other end of the island to stay there. Just before our stay a message came through that they did not have the requested bubbles so could not provide it. No offer of bottles that were available or anything else that could be provided. As it was written in our booking that we were celebrating such a milestone something from the hotel as little as a note in our room congratulating us would have been nice.The spa pool is comfortable for 1 person at a time. The balconys are not private, you see straight through to the neighbour's balcony and spas. The rooms above that do not have balconys also look straight down over the balcony and spa pool.Robes are childrens sizes. We are ladies size 12 and men's L and neither of us could even get the robes to meet in the middle.When showering be sure to put plenty of towels on the floor as the water goes everywhere.Doors for storage rooms should not be open for guests to see while walking through the halls to and from rooms, these doors were not closed at all while we were there.Cash is not accepted which we were unaware of, so check out and settling the bill for our meals was not quick and easy. Once we saw the manager he sorted us out quick and easy even rounding it down so we could give exact cash.First hotel we have stayed at that does not print an itemized account when settling the bill. I was told yes it is itemized but Beverages $$Coffee $$Meals $$Bar snacks $$Is not itemized. Each item being charged should be listed incase there is an error.Nice place, bad location.

An oasis of luxury and...

Liked: The service from all staff members was excellent. Everyone responded quickly and efficiently, and they went the extra mile to accommodate any request. Their manner was open, friendly, and warm. Our room 101 was beautiful and well-appointed. The balcony is a huge plus, and the 24-hour reception is a bonus. The restaurant and food are lovely.
Disliked: A roomier shower would have enhanced the bathroom. Nothing else comes to mind.

I would definitely recommend SOHO...

Liked: The staff were so helpful and all the meals from breakfast through to lunch and dinner were delicious!The design and comfort of the hotel areas and bedrooms was really nice too.
Disliked: Having to get Ubers everywhere, although they were quick and efficient there was nothing close by to walk too.

Not value for money sorry.

Liked: The bathtub and the ease of having two shower or bath heads. And thr deck and lights were amazing! Thr space was on point!
Disliked: The bathroom looked like it had never had a deep clean- scummy shit in corners, which made me cringe.. hygiene is important as is cleanliness. Also we were so tired we went to sleep and didn't realise that the motorway could see through our room and our intimacy. When getting up to see if blinds could close they would not go further down. Both my partner and I were in a rush come morning and did not have enough time to discuss this matter with staff. Not value for money sorry.
