Good hotel in a great...

Liked: Good breakfast with different choices and available until 11:00 am. Nice walk in shower with good water pressure. Excellent location walking distance to main sights, and lots of fantastic bars and restaurants
Disliked: The room is starting to need some renovation, like a good coat of paint. The walls had lots of marks and scratches. The shower also starts building mold in some areas.The pillows were not very comfortable and start feeling old.One of the girls at the check in counter was a bit stressed and not quite friendly. I do understand her though because there was a group coming back late from perhaps work? And they just realized they had to vacate the room hours before. All of this might have given her a bit of a stressful situation and well, it reflected in her treatment/attitude towards new guests.

Excellent and Convenient place to...

Liked: This hotel was well placed for walking around Madrid. The staff were friendly and helpful with all questions and requests. The room was comfortable, with a view onto a courtyard. The breakfast was excellent, however having to wait for a table was inconvenient The bed was comfortable, and all amenities worked as they should.
Disliked: Having to wait for a table breakfast was inconvenient.

Liked: Location is perfect and quiet
Disliked: The staff wasn't super welcoming. The room could have been a little bit more clean (hair in the shower) and set (the bed had only bedsheets so we had to ask to have a duvet installed in the room as it was quite cold during the night). I was expecting a bit more given the price.
