Superb

Location and staff amazing. Some...

Liked: The location is excellent and all staff encountered were very courteous and professional. The beds were very comfortable.
Disliked: I would recommend having some bottled water available in the room. For the pricePaid it is something I would have expected for a Sofitel Hotel.The lampshades were hanging in by a thread again unacceptable for a Sofitel.

beware of Booking.com scam messages

Disliked: booked a twin room 6 months earlier at one rate..arrived and they didn't have that room and tried to charge a higher rate. also the booking.com messaging via the hotel was hacked and kept getting repeated messages that I needed to confirm my room and provide credit card details.again. not a.good experience of either the hotel or Booking.com

Liked: We generally dont give reviews, but we have enjoyed the hospitality of the Gaby restaurant staff. Ron is one of the waiters that truly stands out, has amazing customer service, and is a wonderful character

Great hotel in French style

Liked: It’s a proper five star hotel (with only four stars for who knows why). Great location. Great restaurant area.

Best hotel on 44th street

Liked: I liked everything. Didn’t get the best room location but still good, since the hotel was very full, but enjoyed the stay a lot. The lady at the breakfast remembered me after a long while. Take away coffee in the morning is great.
Disliked: Breakfast had got even pricier than before, and it was quite ridiculously expensive already earlier.

A high-priced hotel that provides...

Liked: Location.
Disliked: We stayed in the King Suite 28 times, but when we checked in, we found a used coffee cup left in front of our room. Additionally, despite the description stating that Netflix and other streaming services were available, we were unable to use them in the room. When we inquired about this issue at the front desk, a female staff member said she would check with her supervisor and call us back, but we never received a follow-up call.
