Disliked: For a suite amenities were not great - paper cups for coffee; no tea bags - didn’t create a luxury feelBar was lacking atmosphere Breakfast poor - greasy food; menu didn’t state full ingredients which resulted in order being sent back

Great location and fantastic staff.

Liked: Amazing breakfast which came with our booking. The menu selections went above and beyond, the food was expertly prepared, and the service was top notch. It was nice that we didn't have to waste time searching for a breakfast solution.

Wonderful Gold Coast hotel in...

Liked: I love the Sofitel. The staff is fabulous, the location is great. Rooms are well appointed. So close to all of the best shopping and restaurants. The included breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: However, during our stay, the hotel was so HOT that it made sleeping difficult. We attempted to turn down the temperature, but that did nothing. In the morning, the front desk told us there was indeed a mechanical problem and apologized profusely. I do plan to stay at the Sofitel again, but only if they fix this issue.
