Hotel Air Conditioning System Broken

Liked: Nothing above average
Disliked: Air conditioning is broken and has been for some time apparently wth no information on when it would be fixed. I was only notified after payment for hotel had been made. A portable air conditioner was provided with the window open all the time.. Inexcuseable in humid Auckland.

Liked: The room service meal was amazing and our bed was very comfortable
Disliked: We had no air conditioning and wasn't mentioned until after I had paid for the room. And considering it is summer our room was extremely hot and quite uncomfortable. Disappointing as this was a saprise for my wife and our t year wedding anniversary.

Liked: The first concierge when we arrived was so helpful and had a very good presence about here which made us comfortable and relaxed upon arrival. She is a superstar employee
Disliked: No AC at the time of stay

Liked: Location is great.
Disliked: The air conditioning being out was not great. The rooms are expensive and it didn’t represent the value that we paid. The food offering is average at breakfast. The service and food didn’t marry the standard of what I expect from Sofitel . Was not the most memorable stay at all.

Excellent hotel, but in need...

Liked: Perfect location, great bed! Friendly staff.
Disliked: Lack of proper air con. Cafe closed at weekends. Noisy machinery outside so we had to have windows closed.
