Liked: Fabulous small hotel tucked away in a quiet part of Alfama. The staff were exceptionally helpful & friendly, and they answered the questions that I had about transport & places of interest. Very pleasant and comfortable room and facilities and plenty of space. There are some wonderful welcome gestures which I won’t go into detail about so that you can be as surprised as I was. A delightful stay in every respect.

I would definitely book it...

Liked: Staff went above and beyond! They booked things for us and even helped us order a charger for a phone and have it delivered to us. Joanna was well informed and provided so much information. ALL the staff including the breakfast staff provided the best service we ever had at any hotel. Breakfast was exceptional! Highly recommend the avocado toast and Nutella crepe!
Disliked: The hotel was exceptional but the location was a bit of a walk away from the tourist areas. I wouldn’t suggest it if you have mobility issues. But Ubers and taxis are just a call away and staff is ready to make that call.

Liked: Everything except cobblestone streets in area. They were unsafe for me, a woman of 88.
