Hotel Description
This hotel is located in historic Smithfield directly on the Pagan River. The hotel features a restaurant marina with a one mile wrap-around boardwalk library and views in every room. Smithfield Station guest rooms are spacious and feature a large work desk and a sofa chair. Cable TV and free Wi-Fi are included. All rooms offer views of the river or Windsor Castle Park. There are 2 conference rooms at the Smithfield hotel as well as an outdoor seasonal pool. The Restaurant is open daily for all 3 meals and serves fresh seafood and local cuisine. Windsor Castle Park is across the street from the Hotel Smithfield Station and has a kayak and canoe launch and many hiking trails. There are also many art galleries and boutique shops along the Boardwalk and downtown.

We loved it

Liked: Everything was nice. The dinner we enjoyed with friends was wonderful and breakfast was good. Staff was friendly

We enjoyed our stay but...

Liked: The location of the hotel on the marina is very nice. The restaurant is great, especially when you can sit outside on their deck. The rooms were very clean and well appointed.
Disliked: Our rooms were located in the older part of the hotel on the second floor above the restaurant. It was not written in bold letters that there was no elevator and my mother who is 87 had struggled with the steps. We didn't ask for another room but thought it should have been stated more clearly. The beds are too high for shorter folks and people with mobility issues.
