Sleeping well in Vancouver
Liked: Smithe House has apartments, not hotel rooms; modern, very tastefully designed and decorated apartments in a great location in Vancouver. I was very comfortable there, as if I were in my own home. I've stayed in s I Mr of the best hotels ND enjoy being pampered. But Smithe House was perfectly tight for Vancouver. I recommend it without reservation ( tho m as ke sure you have one!).
Disliked: The only thing I wish they had in t he apt was a map of the neighborhood so one knows where there's a drug store, coffee house, supermarket etc.

Great serviced apartment in Yaletown
Liked: The location is great. The suites are new. Honestly it was a positive experience. Just be aware this is not a hotel - it is a serviced apartment. There is no front desk, no concierge, and no room service but you do have a kitchenette and in room laundry machines.
Disliked: Our only two complaints are this:1) Both the dishwasher and washing machine were not yet working during our stay. Just make sure they are working in your unit when you first check in if this is something important that is important to you. They did offer to come fix ours but it was about the time of checkout and we only stayed one night. 2) The toilet paper roll provided is very cheap. Perhaps leaving a second roll along with upgrading to a slightly better version would be appreciated.
