Edinburgh is a truely magical...

Liked: It was good value for money, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when recommending things to do! The showers were also incredible!!
Disliked: The lack of plug sockets per room, I had to use the chargers downstairs in the lobby!

Overall a good stay. Would...

Liked: Value for money.Friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Bed was terribly noisy, waking me up every time I moved slightly.Curtains fell down on me when opening them.Breakfast, average. Porridge option would be good.

I really need to know...

Liked: Only location was good very near from every where
Disliked: The hotel experience was disappointing. I booked a room for two, but they gave me a four-bed room, which was extremely uncomfortable. I feel like I completely wasted my money. It didn’t even feel like a proper hotel I could have gotten something much better for the same price.

Poor

Liked: The location. The staff was very kind and helpful.
Disliked: The bed was so uncomfortable that I woke up with the feeling I had been hit by a car. We had no hot water until I didn't speak with the staff.

wouldn't hesitate to stay again...

Liked: bathroom was excellent as good as any fancy hotel
Disliked: shared kitchen a tad scruffy

Unprofessional staff, uncomfortable beds, noisy...

Liked: 9m walk from the train station
Disliked: - receptionist was not there when I arrived around 6pm, had to head to the bar and ask for her - receptionist then gave me the wrong code number for my room, I ended up knocking on someone's room which was embarrassing and had to go 5 floors down again with all my luggage, just tiring after my long trip..- Staff was unprofessional and not comprehensive.- mattresses for the bed were thin and uncomfortable - noisy night due to the open bar downstairs - noisy guests as for some reason it was full of students - too expensive for this sort of service
