Too hot

Liked: We stayed at Sloane Place and were really disappointed with our experience. The room was unbearably hot, and we couldn’t sleep at all, which was especially frustrating as my husband had the London Marathon the next day. We chose this hotel partly because it’s advertised as dog-friendly, but the heat made our stay very stressful for our dog. She was restless, anxious, and clearly uncomfortable the entire night, and it affected her for several days after we left.On a slightly positive note, the staff were very accommodating. They informed us that the hotel was experiencing issues with the heating/AC, came into our room to check on us, and acknowledged how warm it was. They even brought us two fans, which made the situation a bit more bearable. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the compensation (a free breakfast and a half-price room) didn’t quite make up for the trouble—especially given our circumstances with our dog’s wellbeing and the marathon.In our view, a full refund would have been a fairer resolution. Overall, given the situation, I can’t recommend Sloane Place if you need a comfortable and restful stay, particularly if you’re traveling with pets or have important events the next day.

Liked: Excellent location , clean rooms but our room was tiny , barely a place in closets for two people . My husband had to put his clothes on the desk , my toiletries were crammed up on a glass table on the bottom of the sink and they didn’t fit . Barely room to walk around in the room . The AC makes a sound when it’s turned on so if you’re sleeping with the AC turned on, the sound goes on all night . It’s also a bit stuffy with the AC on. The lift is another story .. it takes forever to arrive and it barely fits 3 people , 4 people if you’re squeezed . Our kids room was great and spacious . I would advise to get a twin room in this hotel . Breakfast was great , cafe is charming , staff at reception are super helpful , so are some of the cafes staff . Location is excellent .

Liked: Location was brilliant! Very close to Sloane Square and Kings Road. Comfy beds and easy check in.

Liked: Room could be brightened a little. But dreary. A bigger mirror would help with that by reflecting more light and would also be better for short people trying to blow dry their hair
