Handy hotel in Sligo

Liked: Easily found and very central. Good parking. Comfortable beds and very clean.
Disliked: Food could be better.

Liked: The location was perfect . Close to everything .staff were very nice . The room was spotless and very comfortable other than the noise of the lift . Tayto and water in arrival, which was a lovely touch
Disliked: The only downfall was our room location, and this would prevent me from booking again. We were on the 3rd floor right next to the lift. Which normally i wouldn't even think would be an issue .. however, as the hotel is a little old, the lift is so so noisy.. we were traveling so were ready to settle in for the night about 6pm and were looking forward to chilling out however it was impossible as everything anyone used the lift you could hear the button being pressed it travelling up or down which prevented me from getting any sleep . That was the only downfall . This is sontjing that continued well into the hours of 4am.. and started back up very early . It's definitely something to consider if thinking of booking

Liked: The big open fire was very welcoming , the staff were very friendly
Disliked: My room was next to the lift and it was noisy

Liked: Got the fish for dinner made me sick and still am
