Disliked: Bed was a little too soft.

The rude & unnecessary behavior...

Liked: Hot Breakfast was good, but Desk Clerk upon check-in was rude & obnoxious, His words "I been doing this for 22 years" and that I (customer) should go somewhere else. I didn't understand his comment because all I did was identify I had paid already "on-line arriving Friday 8-2-2024 & leaving Monday 8-5-2024 identifying I had a small pet. Clerk said he had me down for only 2 nights and the pet was extra at $20/day. I explained it was 3 nights & the Booking never mentioned a $20/day extra cost. Then he was trying to get me to leave and go somewhere else, but I explained the room had already been paid for and I would normally just leave, but I had been driving for 12 hours already and needed the room to sleep. I paid the pet fee $60. His last statement to me was "He didn't want to hear anything out of me for the rest of stay, and if he had any complaints about the pet or me, he would boot me out". So, I swallowed my pride, without saying another word I grabbed the key card & never spoke to the staff at Sleep In. I will never stay at a Sleep In again, because of this rude desk clerk. Also, the maintenance guy washing front door window heard the whole thing and said "sorry to me" as I was walking out to unload my car.

This Hotel chain will never see another dime from me and should Fire the 22 year experienced employee desk clerk for his rude & unnecessary behavior.

Disappointing

Liked: It was super close to the location we needed to be at and close to food and things to do during down time. I like that we had a whole suite for a decent price with a full size fridge, dish washer etc.
Disliked: However just because we had the dishwasher etc. some things weren’t working. We weren’t able to turn the dish washer on. When we checked into the hotel no one told us the pool was down. So we spent $100 that weekend additionally on local community pools for my kids and I. Room service didn’t pay attention to the do not disturb sign and came in twice. It felt very unorganized and chaotic. I won’t be back.

Average. Nothing special.

Liked: Room was average. Clean enough. Main complaint is that AC unit rattled and couldn’t keep up with the humidity. The while room , including bedding , felt damp.
Disliked: See above.
