Liked: The first room we were in only had 1 light working and the sink dripped constantly. We were moved to another room that had roaches in it. It was late and we decided to not press the issue. We informed the front desk the next day and the front desk worker (male) acted like he was used to hearing these issues and did not show any cause for concern. We informed him we were checking out due to the issues and getting another hotel and he didn’t care at all just an “ok”. Idk how this place has 8 stars on booking.com. I did request a refund and was denied by booking.com. I called the hotel and spoke to the GM who was newly hired. He rectified the issue and was extremely apologetic and validated our concerns with careful regard. I believe he is trying to make the hotel better and “trim the fat”. It’s a work in progress. We did get a refund but messaging the property through booking.com fell on deaf ears. We never got a response from the hotel after messaging through the platform on booking.com after sending 2 messages. Booking.com even called the hotel and nobody answered. Booking.com customer service rep told me to write a review and they flagged the hotel in their system and notated our experience.

Liked: Front desk staff were excellent
Disliked: Bathroom floor was not clean, there was dirt buildup in the corners. Staff at breakfast let food run out even though she was informed something had run out. About 10 minutes later, after leaning against the door frame the whole time, she put more food out. Guests were smoking pot in their room.
