Disappointing

Liked: There was mildew or mold in the restroom area in the tub.And the furniture could definitely use some repainting or restaining. Also, the blankets had holes an rips. there was only one set of towels in the hotel room 3 guests. I did speak with someone at the desk for additional But they were unable to provide it to me until the next day. When walking into the hotel there is a fish tank with one singular fish and the tank is filthy. It is the focal point of the room.Probably should take care of that. Breakfast was always wonderful and the attendant was always kind and helpful. The gym area had limited equipment of which half of it was non Functional/ broken. Also, the t v's in the equipment room never worked. The pool area was okay, except the walls and ceilings were really dirty and I couldn't even look up because it wasn't a nice view. Also the jacuzzi never once worked it was always ice cold. A little girl cut her foot somehow, There was No first aid kit when I requested one and TheYoung girls guardian Decided to let her rinse her bloody foot in the pool. The water fountains didn't work although they did have a picture of ice water by the front door with cups for guest. Throughout our stay at night, the employees made a lot of noise, laughing and giggling, and it was hard for my children to sleep soundelete. Their work area was across the hallway from our room so they would leave the door open at all hours of the night playing music and having fun, yet they didn't have enough towels to go around. Lastly, the front desk staff was not very friendly or welcoming.And I think that that's something that should be taken care of immediately.There's just a certain way to greet your guest upon entry, an a certain way that you respond to your guest when they're asking you questions or seeking help.

Liked: As a Head Housekeeper all i have to say is WOW from the moment i walked in the lobby the smell was Horrible i guess they dont really care to much about cleanliness & i should have just walked out then but i was like its just the smell.... When we walked out of the elevator on 2nd floor to go to our 1st room it smelled like poop or throw up so bad.... We walk into our 1st room & it was dirty which tells me rooms are not being inspected or double checked.... Our 2nd room was ok but the pretty top sheets had pizza stains or something red on them & then when we got in the beds & pulled that top sheet back that comforter has seen better days like just throw it & get a new one already lol.... Houskeepers needs to check those filters to they were horrible.... The whole point of the stay was so my kids could swim & I was going to relax in the hot tub because sadly my Hotel pool is out doors.... We'll that was a FAIL all the way around u think indoor pool it's Heated NO NOT AT ALL & THE HOT TUB WAS EVEN COLDER.... So the ONLY positive thing I can say was the beds & pillows were comfy & the air worked great other then that i definitelywasted my money.... Oh & Breakfast was a no as well & the juice machine was out so no drinks just water & milk I guess.... I always check reviews that may have saved me but I just figured it was nice well better luck next time I guess.... I hate to leave this review but like I said as a Head Housekeeper it was very disappointing.... Save your money & check your reviews!!

Disliked: The staff, the beds had stains on covers, and sheets, and it was a handicap room. Rooms was not side by side like I reserved on reservations.

Liked: Easy to find, right off highway and next to gas stations
Disliked: Broken door lock, smells aweful, worst hotel in Lubbock, not clean at all furniture scratched and broken, and stains on ceiling and walls, also holes in the comforter.
