Passable

Liked: The room was not clean. Smelled of urine. Cheetos on floor candy wrappers stuffed in chair cushion. Bathroom floor had foot prints on. Clearly not washed. Nice was a large sitting area in lobby.

Extremely disappointing.

Liked: It was clean. Front desk was welcoming.
Disliked: Very expensive just because it has a waterpark. The waterpark area was packed and water looked tough. They’ve done nothing for years to their rooms. Furniture was all beaten up badly. Bed was old and uncomfortable. Everything was falling apart. We spent $200 for 1 night on each room in our party. The company is obviously not reinvesting any money to keep it fresh and well maintained. Parking lot in front was full and the back was sketchy but it worked. 1 elevator for the whole building. We stayed in 5 different hotels on our road trip and this was by far the worst and yet by far the most expensive. On the way down we stayed in a hotel down the street which was clearly well taken care of and it was less money. It only had a small pool and we thought on our last night we splurge for the kids to enjoy the waterpark. We were wrong. Breakfast was not good and the coffee was like hot water in an automated system. Was one of the worst stays we’ve ever had. I’d say go down the street and enjoy a smaller pool for less with better accommodations.

Never Again.

Liked: Location was nice. Breakfast was normal. Room was horrible. There were stains everywhere. Found hairs on the phone. Looked like nothing was cleaned off. The mattress felt like it was more than 20 years old. The toilet had bag gaskets in the tank so it kept cycling all night. Couldn’t sit in the lounge chair, horrible stains. Light fixtures has rust. Almost the whole room looked like the items were bought used from an old hotel 25+ years ago. We tried to switch rooms but there were none available and when we asked for a refund to go elsewhere, the staff stated they could not do it until the manager was there the next day. We found garbage under the chair. The usb port in the lamp was rusted and didn’t work. The pool was ok but needed a good cleaning as the water was cloudy. It was definitely not work what we paid.

It was a good stay.

Liked: Liked everything but breakfast. Pancakes very flat and rubber like. No peanut butter. Otherwise very clean comfortable bed.

Okay stay, but used to...

Liked: The gentlemen who checked us in was very nice.
Disliked: Went to breakfast at 8am, everything was gone except cereal. Went back down at 9am, only thing left were eggs and biscuits. The pool was murky and felt unclean. The rooms need some TLC as well. Just seemed like everything needed some rejuvenating. We loved our stay last time, in 2019 and couldn’t wait to come back. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be back after this time. It’s not worth the extra drive to do activities in Kansas City.
