Musty room. Traumatizing experience.
Liked: I did not care for the breakfast and did not wait for it. My experience for the first few hours was horrible due to the musty room. So I had to leave
Disliked: MUSTYI’m writing to provide a formal feedback and request for a refund for my money for your inability to uphold your end of the contract.As you can see from the email below that I made a reservation at the 'Sleep Inn Lancaster Dallas South' for two nights: from October 11 - 13, 2024.On Friday, October 11 when I checked in I was first given a room with a single bed. After seeing this , I immediately returned to the front desk lady who changed it to Room #325. My reservation was for a two bed room. Unfortunately the experience went south from here.The room was musty and very uncomfortable. I could barely sleep 3 hours in the room after which I returned to the front desk around 1:30am or thereabout to meet with Mr. Bunny, who quickly responded. He followed me to the room and acknowledged it was musty. He then tried to use an air freshener and also opened the window. After seeing this did not help and being an asthmatic, I had to leave the room to go sleep in my car before the situation results in an asthma attack. I was in my car up till around 6:00am. Besides the discomfort of sleeping in the car, all the work I planned to do on my laptop in the room could not be done.I left the hotel premises soon after I informed Mr. Bunny and got this annotated message on the receipt he provided to me. stating - “I’ll talk to the Manager about the room …. Bunny"Respectfully,D.O.F
