Slaley Hall Hotel Spa & Golf Resort is an Edwardian mansion house with a modern twist set in 1000 acres of Northumberland countryside just 24 miles from Newcastle. It has a luxury spa 2 PGA Championship golf courses 3 restaurants and wonderful views. The modern rooms each have a large work desk. Sadly seems to have lost...

Liked: Sadly.the people staying let the hotel down more than itself. Apart from the evening meal, a 50 minute wait from starter to main course any no advisement of a delay other that picking up a general vide others had the same problem. At breakfast I noticed just how many bits of food were left down the sides of the bench seats and the general disrepair of certain parts of the hotel.. Some parts are amazing but the evening meal and restaurant are sadly very questionable!

it was the perfect night...

Liked: the whole thing the decor ,location,the staff were unbelievable couldn’t of been any better

Disappointed , would not go...

Liked: It was our first visit and first impressions of location was great ! However we had to wait to be booked in nearly 30 mins at the desk as only one staff member on!! Then, never ever been asked before a 100.00 retention charge for the room , we are pensioners we are not you going to trash the room!! The spa does not have a booking system it was very very busy so not enjoyable!! The menu is awful , and very limited and overpriced !! Room ok but very tired looking !!
