Location was good but shuttle...

Liked: The only thing that truly went well was transport to the airport in the morning. The front desk person was pleasant but she had no help and we were unable to get somethings because she was constantly checking in people.
Disliked: Transport to from the airport was confusing. The first shuttle to the hotel was filled quickly and the driver said he would be back as fast as possible but might need a bigger shuttle and he was the only available driver. We never saw him again and waited in freezing temps with others, for another two hours for a different driver to show up.Also, the interior of the hotel was not a finished product as it appeared to have many aspects (floors, tv, doors, corridors) still needing work with workers in the process. Breakfast area was minimal and we only had coffee.It was also impossible to reach the hotel by phone as each time I called it said "mailbox is full."

Basically a safe/clean place to...

Liked: It was clean, other than the renovation going on.
Disliked: Airport shuttle service was advertised but when I tried to make numerous phone calls throughout the week leading up to my arrival, I couldn't get a response as to how or where to meet the service. This old Best Western is being renovated and I believe it will be a much more visitor friendly stay once that is completed. For now, it was a place to rest my head. Just disappointed I had to spend so much in Uber fees to get to and from the airport.

Totally unsatisfactory.

Disliked: I booked in late due a cancelled flight. The promised airport shuttle didn't run - I had to take a taxi. The hotel seemed as if it was being refurbished but the work had ground to a halt, so it was filthy. The bedroom door keycard didn't work. the carpets were frayed. The shower didn't work. The bed linen was not ironed, so gave the impression that it wasn't fresh. The 100 UD deposit wasn't returned. There was no good reason for this as the room was returned in the condition in which it was received.

Hotel from Hell

Disliked: The hotel was a mess. It was under renovation and apparently had a bad bed bug infestation. The construction workers were hammering and sawing until 8pm so loudly that I had to go down there personally and tell them to end their work because the hotel staff didn't. We were on the 5th floor which was recently redone, poorly. There were construction screws on our bedroom floor, the work that was done was shotty at best. Carpet was disgusting. We read the other reviews and searched our bed frantically for any signs of bedbugs. Luckily our mattress was newly replaced, but it made for a horrible night's sleep. Would not recommend. This is a hotel of nightmares! Run away!
