The best hotel ever!

Liked: Amazing hotel, so beautiful and clean and comfortable. The staff marvellous, special mention to Sue for giving us all the loving and fun!

Liked: The staff were excellent, especially a lady named Sue. She basically wrote us our itinerary.

Very comfortable bed and best...

Liked: Great upper end boutique hotel feel. Great Bar and absolutely fantastic breakfast! Best scrambled eggs and fruit I’ve had in a long time. Hostess / Server “Sue” was an absolute joy!
Disliked: Bedroom very small, but it’s a very old historic building. Kinda far outside Portree. Don’t give your entire dinner order to your server or salad, appetizer and entree and dessert will come out all at once.

Beautiful Hotel with Lovely Staff

Liked: Beautiful hotel. Plenty of room for parking. Staff was very friendly. Assisted us with our bags to our room. Dinner was amazing, with great views. Breakfast was served in a separate room. Lots of options. Cold and hot items to choose from. Also, the perk for us is we were away from the crazy traffic/town. But this hotel was about 15 minutes away from Portree. So you are close to gift shops, Boots Pharmacy, and restaurants if needed. In Portree you will have to pay to park. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to family and friends.
Disliked: Not much. But I would say the shower was a little steep to get in and out of. They do have small handles.

We had a wonderful two...

Liked: Food and service was amazing. Breakfast options were good and the staff were very quick and friendly. Our room with the balcony was great to watch the sun set and to have a drink after dinner to relax. Staff was very accommodating for anything we needed.

Overpriced Old Country Hotel

Liked: Good location, old electic style, nice restaurant.
Disliked: Extremely overpriced, generally pretentious . Rooms very small without enough space for our luggage. I could hear couple next door who were speaking at normal volume. If I paid 300 for the night, I would give a great review but i was stupid enough to pay 600.... pounds, not dollars ! What a big mistake that was. Go to Cuillian Hills Hotel instead, that is actually worth it. This is not.The breakfast was truly mediocre. Our room , 17, was on a footpath so we heard the trek to breakfast because the window was open. We were too hot in the room - poor ventilation and no AC or fan. Dinner was good but not exceptional while the prices were astronomical.
