Nice place in skye

Liked: The hotel was well located. It had a nice view. The staff was friendly and they offered a large selection for breakfast.
Disliked: It seems very pricey. For this price range, I would expect the place to be perfect and there were a lot of stains on the carpet in the room. Additionally our heater was stuck on and we were told that it could not be adjusted in that room so it was very hot. Seems unusual to me, especially in summer that this heater would not be able to be adjusted. Therefore, we had to sleep with the window open all night because it was so hot in the room. There were also some things broken in the bathroom like the toilet paper holder and the light on the mirror, making the bathroom very dark. It just seems like for this price range thing should be perfect.

Liked: The room was very well appointed and a good size the dinner and breakfast were both excellent.

Liked: A friendly welcome and was shown to my room and offered help with my bags. This was great.Lovely staffRoom was very clean and well presented, and very comfortable.
Disliked: I didn't really like the menu for dinner so went into Portree instead. Lots of spam emails the week before check-in purporting to be from the hotel via Booking.com.
