Liked: As I sit here sipping the delicious tea I bought during my stay, I am transported back to the darling tea parlor at this home. WOW is all I can say - everything from the friendly owner and tea parlor/ breakfast connoisseur, to the attention to detail, aromatic teas and delectable breakfast that stuffed us for the whole day, this stay EXCEEDED my expectations in every way. The home is magnificent, cosy and has a good vibration. Totally loved it and will return! Perfect for a girls trip or a romantic couples trip - also for any other occasion or event.
Disliked: That I had to leave - I wish I could live there!

Liked: A beautiful Victorian mansion generously and tastefully decorated. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious and varied breakfast. Excellent location, on a quiet street close to both the town center and the highway. We really enjoyed our stay and are grateful for the hospitality we received.
Disliked: The only significant thing to bear in mind is that the stairs to the 3rd floor are rather steep, so if climbing steep stairs is not for you, ask for a room on the first or second floor if possible. Also, our room had a bathroom sink in the room itself, and the shower and toilet in a separate bathroom--most guests won't mind this, but some might.

Never again, worst treatment and...

Disliked: Extremely unfriendly staff. From the moment we arrived we were treated like outcasts. Maybe because we're not American or because we're not over 60...all older American couples were treated with smiles and laughs while they whispered to them "sorry we have to serve these people to" when we wanted to order breakfast. It feels like a place that hates younger people. We have travelled over 3 months in the US and never found such an unwelcoming place!!

Liked: Absolutely loved this old home. The care that was done to decorate was wonderful. The breakfast was very good. You were given a menu with several choices, but would fix what you wanted. The scones were the best.
