Liked: The staff were very helpful, good location for racetrack or anything really in Taupō, bathroom was decently clean- toilet clean, towels clean, shower clean. Room service/milk for tea and towels were offered.
Disliked: Loud people early and late, strong smell of food came into our room from the hallway, loud doors shutting, duvet seemed old/not white, could have been a tad cleaner in general but didn’t feel yuck. only one piece of cutlery- 1 spoon, carpark did get full leaving us without a spot,

Liked: Location is great and well within walking distance into town for dinner etc
Disliked: Beds are comfy but quite soft. Rooms are very dated and need a lot of work. Food left on floor from previous guests and very strong smell of curry in lounge area.Shower was luke warm, door felt as if it was going to fall apart everytime you opened and closed it and shower nozzle wouldn't stay in place and would slip right down or even fall off.Toilet seat was unsecured to the toilet and the toilet paper holder was barely hanging onto the wall. Towel rail was broken and the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling.Luckily, we weren't cooking as the oven door was broken as well.The water pipes must have had an air bubble or something as they sounded like there were birds in the drain/pipes.We had stayed here before and had a great experience in another room so we had high expectations for this 3 bedroom family suite.We spent a lot of money for one nights stay so was disappointing.Room very much needs a lot of TLC and a good clean.
