Liked: The hotel and staff were nice. The room was clean. It was a good location.
Disliked: The jacuzzi room did not have a great view. The view we had from the room without the jacuzzi was better. You have to pay 16 dollars a day for parking (not valet).

Price for a normal room...

Liked: The view from our 3rd floor room was excellent. It was a total view of Tacoma bay that came with beautiful sunrises. The size of the room was average although the furnishings and style was very upscale. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the offering changed every other day. The were complimentary snacks and beverages available after breakfast hours. There were also a restaurants nearby within walking distance and one offered a discount for Tacoma Waterfront guests.
Disliked: The worst- they charge $16 per day for parking. Nothing special, just the spaces surrounding the hotel, most were uncovered, and all was not secure. Why charge the fee? Love it or hate it- train tracks are right across the street and arrive and depart at all hours. I for one loved it because there is nothing like that in my home town. You might find it obtrusive you're tired hearing train horns all the time.

Liked: Lovely location, friendly staff with a neat & clean property. Several pleasant surprises on this water view hotel. Our King room was spacious with a kitchenette area. Breakfast area was warm & inviting plus included eggs, bacon & makes your own waffles plus cereals, yogurt & juices. Staff were friendly. Don’t miss the map at the front desk with information on Resturants including on the water views.
