Liked: Staff are always friendly, helpful and available. The front desk staff are exceptional compared to previous hotels I’ve stayed. The wait staff in the Resturant are also great. Food was better than I expected for a hotel. Cocktail was incredible.

No elevator is a problem....

Liked: Asked for an ADA room which was what was booked. On arrival was told it was on the 4th floor and the elevator was unavailable, and was being renovated for the next 4 months. My wife was unable to go up 4 flights of stairs. We were given a room with a tub on the 2nd floor with only 1 flight of stairs. We were not advised in advance. Room could have been cleaner, there was garbage on the follow under the desk. On a positive note there was a very nice young man named Aaron who helped me with luggage.

Convenient location to the NW...

Liked: The hotel's location is excellent and within a short walking distance to the heart of the Northwest District (NW 23rd). Arriving by car, the hotel is easy to reach from the freeway, the free parking was a HUGE bonus in a city where most if not all hotels charge crazy parking fees and/or resort fees. The King room was spaciously large, quiet, had a comfortable bed, and was fully equipped with Keurig coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave. Our room had a broad view of what appeared to be the industrial area of the city which was kinda cool and felt very "Portland". The shower had good water pressure and the vanity area had a large bench and was located outside of the bathroom. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. WiFi was good and easy to connect to. The TV had a decent amount of channels to scroll through.
Disliked: The hotel alerted us before our stay that the elevators were not working, so we were prepared for this when we arrived. Because of this inconvenience, the hotel did offer a 20% discount to their on-site restaurant. Our room, though it was on the 4th floor, the three flights of stairs were easy to navigate. The location was great for the free parking, access from the freeway, and for visiting the NW district, Nob Hill, and Slabtown, however it presents quite a long walk if your main interest is to visit the downtown areas east of I-405 such as the Pearl and Portland Downtown (we ended up driving to visit those areas).
