Liked: The hotel was in a cute part of town and the bus stop was right outside of the hotel so we didn’t even have to use our car the whole trip! Not to mention parking the car was free. Couldn’t have asked for a more convenient stay!

Nice, clean, and comfortable.

Liked: The room was a good value for the money. The neighborhood looks a little dubious art first, but I found I could walk to nice coffee shops, shopping, and restaurants. The free parking is great.
Disliked: The staff was very friendly, but didn't seem that knowledgable about Portland. I asked about coffee shops, walking distance to downtown, and they didn't seem to know much, which was weird. Also, the elevator was broken for all 8 days of my stay, and I never saw someone trying to repair it.

HEADING DOWNHILL?

Liked: The mattress was much too soft and probably should have been replaced a while ago - gave me quite a backache. Elevator didn’t work, but at least I’d been warned about that. Housekeeping failed to service my room the second day and front desk contended the “Do Not Disturb” sign was out, which was not the case. At least they comped me a night for the latter.
