Exceptional

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, great spa service and facility, clean soaking tubs
Disliked: I went here with my best friend to just relax , it was perfect! Everything was amazing! Great location, walkable to many places to ship, et etc. Such a cute town!

We totally enjoyed our weekend...

Liked: Staff was excellent, friendly & very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Hot springs soaks very well organized & accommodating. Breakfast was great. Good location for walking to shops and restaurants
Disliked: STAIRS! No options for getting to second floor. Older guests found that pretty difficult. It would have been nice to have a comfy chair in the room.

We had the experience; most...

Liked: Breakfast was ok-nothing to brag about; for what they charged us, they could have put in an elevator; It seemed to be charging us more for the privilege of a private 30 min. mineral bath; We had the experience but most likely will not pursue it again, Staff was pleasant and accommodating in helping us with luggage- taking it up and bringing it down the stairs.
Disliked: An elevator would have been preferred as all the rooms except 1 floor cottage were on the second floor. Stairs were steep

Was convenient being in town...

Liked: The property had character to it, but was aging.
Disliked: the pipes in the morning were emitting a terrible sewage smell that the staff explained was just part of it. Our cost to stay were far more expensive than we felt they should have been. The hotel is listed as a four star, but I fell that rating is quite generous considering there was not a restaurant or any other services that would normally be expected in a four star. The previous two nights we stayed at a true four star hotel in El Paso for the price of one night at sierra grande.

Cool space in a quirky...

Liked: Beautiful space, quiet rooms, friendly staff, and enjoyed the soak
Disliked: They lost their chef recently and the restaurant is closed for dinner and the breakfast was really disappointing

Comfortable bed. Lovely little hotel.

Liked: The rooms were comfortable and the soak was nice.
Disliked: The restaurant / bar was closed.
