Wonderfully restful and incredibly comfortable...

Liked: Location was superb, away from any noisy traffic and set in huge beautiful gardens. About 5 miles from Sidmouth, a lovely small seaside town, definitely worth visiting.The owners were wonderful, friendly and helpful in every way we could have wanted and looked after us brilliantly.Terrific breakfasts.The owners also had two lovely friendly black Labrador dogs who greeted us often when we parked our car.
Disliked: Nothing much: wifi in our room was a little weak but it was not a major problem and we could go to the bar where there was a very strong sugnal for anything important. We were on holiday so that really was not a difficulty for us.

Liked: The pool was wonderful The location was excellent Stunning views all around.Brilliant hosts, great value for money.Great accommodation. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to return.

Liked: SVH is situated in a beautiful valley and was a very relaxing place to stay.We would like to have stayed longer to enjoy the swimming pool. The dinner was delicious and breakfast was exceptional, the best we have had anywhere.

Came home very relaxed and happy

Liked: Very good indeed, super comfortable ground floor room, with view. Had breakfast and evening meal there, dining room is beautiful, tastefully arranged plants and flowers. View over a lovely garden and hills. Charming hosts, one of which is a talented chef. What lovely prepared and tasty food it was. We stayed 3 days and nowhere was too far away to drive to seaside. We took our little dog, large grounds to walk and she loved the space to run around away from the house. They have everything there, including a pool. Just perfect.
Disliked: All good!
