It was adequate for our needs. The staff on duty were so friendly and helpful. The car park slot (nearest the road) was JUST ok for my 4X4 but many cars would struggle to be last parked without under floor damage. Sounds daft, but you need to see the contours on the parking entrance to understand.

Disliked: The bath and shower in the small double bedroom - my head was hitting the ceiling and the shower curtain sticks to you when showering, extractor fan on at all times. Some mould also in the corner with grout missing. Being woken up at 8am people having sex and banging around the room for over an hour.

Liked: The handiness of the location in the middle of the town as well as how the female member of staff went above to ensure we and our 6 month old had a pleasant stay.
Disliked: How noisy it was - obviously it is joined on to a bar, although the window not sealing properly made the experience even noisier. The fire light which stayed green and lit up the room the whole night was not ideal. The bed was basically a solid block with a comforter on it, it very very uncomfortable.

Disliked: barmaid served us full sugar drink when we requested sugar free . We returned the item after checking .barmaid put 2 different types of wine into wine glass when we ordered a large glass of red .we complained and it was sorted .Booking .com did not include dog fees in the total price. that was added on later .
