For a similar price point...

Liked: The owners are very nice and accommodating and were thoughtful to book me a room in the corner a bit further from the highway so that there was not as much highway noise. Bed was quite comfortable! I appreciate that it is a family run motel and I felt safe. Very responsive to phone calls.
Disliked: It's a motel, but this motel felt particularly outdated/"cheap." The traffic can be very loud, beware especially if your room is right next to the highway. I have stayed in many motels and this was by far the smallest motel room I have ever seen, but this was not an issue for me, just stating the facts. The chairs could use an upgrade as they were quite rickety/a bit unstable. The mini fridge makes a vibration/humming noise that vibrates through the floor that made it tough to sleep, and this is a particular pet peeve for me when traveling. I could hear the neighbors thumping around, a bit louder than I would expect for a motel. I low key got locked out of my room because the lock system kept blinking blue lights at me and would not unlock, so that was a bit unnerving, but it worked once I waited a bit. The security system seemed good but the front door is very thin and flimsy so one could easily kick the door in if they really wanted to, however I felt safe so this was not a concern. My bathroom door slides and was not aligned properly so it took some elbow grease to open/close, then it realigned and pinched my finger pretty hard, so be cautious with sliding bathroom door.

Liked: The owner was friendly and helpful. She had good suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants.

Little alchemy

Liked: A little gem. It is an older hotel, but the new owners are renovating and super friendly. Definitely would stay again.

Liked: It is a great location to rest your tired body after finishing your schedule at Ruby Beach. Thanks to the kind owner, I had a pleasant night. It was very warm and cozy. There were two TVs in each room, so the kids didn't fight, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. I don't know when it will be, but if I come to Seattle again, I will definitely spend a day there. In particular, the consideration of the Korean owner touched my whole family. We will remember her for a long time. It's the best. And the beds are especially comfortable^^
