Everything! Blood on curtains and heater unit. Holes in the wall. Broken toilet seat and overall unsanitary room. Did not want to sleep in bed. Never would I recommend this place.

Peeling wall paper, cracked ceiling, water marks on the walls, dirty floors, smells toxic. I cannot believe you all are associated with this dump. I tried to switch hotels but would have lost my money. Stayed in my car as long as possible. These people should not be allowed to run a hotel.

Liked: My room was filled with roaches. Horrible experience. My family couldn't be comfortable due to the roaches. We didn't wanna eat in our rooms or sleep. We bought garbage bags to put our stuff in so we won't take the roaches with us

My most devastating Stay of...

Disliked: The sheet had bloodstain, it was just a flat sheet with no blanket or wash rags, so please bring your own body wash. There was broken glass in the carpet, and couples were coming and going, which made it seem like it was more of an hourly rate setting. I was a nervous wreck; it was truly a traumatizing experience for me. Thank God, I'm back home safely. Just an awful awful experience

say hello to the roaches

Liked: not a thing. dirty carpeting, funky room smell, roaches in the bathroom, TV didn't work, clearly a hotel used for "hourly customers" if I could give negative stars i would. do not waste your money here.

Disappointing

Liked: The price was decent for a hotel in NYC
Disliked: It was dirty. Roaches were seen all throughout the hotel room. As soon as I pulled out food in the room, the roaches came out. It made me feel uncomfortable and afraid a roach may get into my bag of clothes and food

Sheridan Hotel Nightmare Stay

Liked: Exceptional customer service and the housekeeping staff was very professional and polite during my stay.
Disliked: The Sheridan hotel at 1440 Sheridan Expressway in the Bronx is not safe for a single person traveling alone. The area is very isolated and dark at night with insufficient streetlights or eateries for your convenience. Marijuana smoking in the rooms and the smell traveling throughout the hallway was unbearable for a non-smoker including sex solicitation in the parking lot was not what I expected. Unbelievable! Hangers, wash cloths or phones were not available in the room. I used my cell phone to communicate with the manager in the lobby. I wanted a refund for the second night’s stay to relocate to another hotel in the city and needed to talk to the general manager regarding my safety concerns when he is on the premises. My perception is the night duty manager showed no empathy towards me. In the future I plan to book my reservation with a hotel that is widely known in a popular area of Manhattan and disregard the savings opportunities. Our lives are precious, and single women or men traveling alone should never comprise safety and a peace of mind to save a dollar.
