Loved our stay

Liked: Hotel is a little old structurally, but very clean and comfortable. Staff were absolutely the best. Housekeeping arrived daily and we even got a text letting us know our room had been serviced.The location can't be beat. We had a diamond head ocean view. The views from our room will be a memory we will treasure for a lifetime.
Disliked: The hallways were a bit creepy. Some artwork on the walls, vintage photos of Honolulu would make it more welcoming.

Top beach access and views

Liked: Top location on Waikiki, right on beach in center. Ocean view just lovely. Rumfire restaurant great, on water, lights at night, decent menu if out for tours in day and you don't want to head out for dinner. We arrived morning after o'seas flight, lucked in as they had room ready and gave us small upgrade at NO CHARGE. Staff v. helpful. Room compact, even in higher ocean facing categories - we used spare bed for cases. BUT worth the cash for view and location.
