Liked: We took our grandkids for an overnight treat in downtown calgary. The Sheraton is in a great location and is family-friendly. All the hotel staff we had interaction with were kind, helpful and welcoming. Overall fun experience.
Disliked: The sliding door between the bathroom and bedroom in our room was difficult to slide and squeaky.

Disappointing

Liked: The pool and location are the positives.
Disliked: We used to stay at this hotel all the time and hadn’t been in a few years. The hotel is in major need of updates and renovations. It felt old and dirty in the room. The bath tub had rust and soap scum and stains and the carpet is bumpy and looks like it’s lifting. Everything needs a fresh coat of paint. It was way overpriced for what it is now. It was also disappointing that all of the shampoos and lotions and body wash had the same musky man cologne scent. It did not feel like an upscale hotel like it once did.

Liked: LOVED this location - right in the middle of the city with really close walking distance food options that were a great way to start the trip! The room was also really great - comfortable bed and really really clean. The staff was also really friendly and easy to get a hold of.
