Liked: I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience, though it falls short of the standards I've come to expect from the Marriott.The Good:The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely ambiance and well-maintained spaces.The breakfast spread is fantastic, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes – definitely one of the highlights of my stay.The location is superb, especially for the summer season, with easy access to attractions and beautiful surroundings.I appreciated the pet-friendly policy; seeing so many dogs around added a warm and inclusive touch.Contrary to some reviews, I found most of the staff friendly and hardworking, with only a few instances where professionalism could be improved.
Disliked: The booking a room with a child, the sofa bed provided was uncomfortable and not ideal for sleeping, which impacted the overall comfort of our stay.While the SPA facilities are excellent for adults, they are not child-friendly, making it difficult to enjoy them as a family.The pool was very cold, which limited its use, especially for children.In summary, the hotel has many great aspects, particularly the breakfast and location, but there are areas for improvement, especially for families traveling with children. While the staff generally do their best, a few lapses in professionalism stood out. If traveling with pets or during the summer, this hotel could still be a solid choice.
