Old hotel

Liked: Restaurant staff, Thomas. I forgot to pick up my credit card at the restaurant but he returned it to the front desk so that I could pick it up in no time. Thank you so much!
Disliked: When I checked in, the room I received was completely different from the photos shown online — much smaller, less natural light, and only a single armchair instead of a proper seating setup like the 3-seater sofa shown on the website. I raised this issue over the phone (yes, this is 4 star hotel), but was told there were no other options and the manager wasn’t available. I gave up but when the A/C got turned on, it was extremely loud - more like a generator than a cooling system. Without hesitation, I dropped everything and went downstairs for real complaint. I spoke with the same front desk person in person, and only then, surprisingly, he agreed easily and I was I reassigned to a room that matched the advertised photos — which should have happened from the start. Unfortunately, issues didn’t stop there:The A/C was still loud as loud as previous room. I am not joking. The shower head was loose and dirty, clearly lacking maintenance.The duvet was old and lumpy, with cotton infills balled up inside — it looked like it hadn't been replaced in years.The $19 breakfast per person? Honestly closer to military mess hall food than anything you’d expect from a 4 star hotel charging premium rates.This experience was far below expectations — especially when what was initially promised didn’t match reality. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless management addresses both the misleading presentation and the lack of basic maintenance.

Don't waste your money

Liked: First room smelled like an ashtray so had to be moved to a new room. Had to keep requesting blankets but the problem was they were supposed to be down comforters but NONE of them had ANY feathers in them. Then, we were only supplied one packet of coffee for a two day stay and had to PAY for a second cup of very rotten coffee.
Disliked: Nothing has been updated since the hotel opening back in roughly late 80s.

Nice staff, kinda dirty, outdated...

Liked: The outside of the property is amazing and looks like a castle. The breakfast was good but for $18 a person I would’ve thought it would be slightly nicer than that.
Disliked: inside is so outdated, the rooms were gross, there was absolutely mold in the bathroom and hair from past guests. The whole place smelled kinda funky. It was 800 for 3 nights and I’ve stayed at nicer hotels for half that cost. The ATM was broken and our event in the hotel was cash bar. They had no other option for us but to go to the regular hotel bar with INSANELY expensive drinks. With what we paid for the room breakfast should have absolutely been included

Disappointing.

Liked: The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The staff was rude and the hotel scamming people to pay for drinks at an open bar event was ridiculous. Cash only and a broken ATM? Not letting customers get cash from guest services and charge our room? Just no hospitality.
