Liked: Did not appreciate the receptionist that said the total cost of my room upon checkout, I was with my partner and it was a surprise weekend, she didn’t know how much had spent and I wanted to keep it that way

Liked: The glass wall and blinds for the bathroom are inconvenient and annoying. Anyone making a trip to the loo and switches on bathroom lights, it just lights up the whole room. Either remove the glass wall or put up blocking blinds that do not create a disturbance at night for sleeping members in the room

Good location - Bit pricey...

Liked: The location is great. Parking offsite but really close so not a problem. Staff were pleasant. Complementary champagne on arrival was a nice touch. The rooms are a fair size but limited natural light as all sides are buildings thus opaque curtains blocked a lot of the light. Beds comfortable. Didn't notice there were no towels until I was in the shower!! Hand towel was a little less than acceptable for a 5star hotel at that price point. After drip drying however, the breakfast buffet is lovely with a good range. Overall a nice enough stay and good location for the function we were attending.
