Good location, Attractive Property

Liked: Great hotel near the UCSD campus which was perfect for a college visit. Well landscaped. Rooms were large and clean. Full breakfast option. Could use a full length mirror as only mirror was the vanity. Parking was an additional $30/night which seemed an unnecessary add on.

Convenient location; dark and not...

Liked: The hotel is close to the Blue line MetroLink, UCSD, and a shopping center (Snooze restaurant, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Cava Greek restaurant, Ralphs, etc.)
Disliked: My room, on the outside of the ground floor nearest the shopping center, was dark with a rather low ceiling and view of the parking lot. I could hear toilets flushing, cars playing loud music, and early morning trash collection. Also, the room still hadn't been cleaned by 5 pm. Guests were notified that housecleaning takes care of checked-out rooms first, but 5 pm seemed absurd/useless. Beware the extra $30/day to park. The MetroLink and busses are convenient, however. Any of the other buildings, and the second floor, would be better than lower level building 3.
