I expected a bit more from the Sheraton being that it's a higher end hotel. I will not stay in that hotel again and I will not recommend it to my colleagues, friends or family. Customer service makes the difference and Sheraton staff lack training, possibly motivation, to give good satisfying customer service.
Liked: Nice hotel; awesome climate control.
Disliked: Staff lack good customer service. Did not feel welcomed. Only one staff member greeted us good morning throughout our stay.

Could have been worse I...
Liked: While admittedly it was under construction, so a great deal of the issues were likely unavoidable, the absolute stench of I don't what assaulted us not only in our floor but doubly so in our room. The thermostat did not work in our room, thankfully it was not an incredibly uncomfortable temperature. One day our room didn't get cleaned. I know, first world problems. It was far too cold to actually use the pool but it was filthy and unusable. I don't generally have immensely high expectations but I'd definitely prefer to stay somewhere else if I come to Albuquerque again. The 3 minute drive to the airport and the free on demand shuttle was a definite perk as was the onsite bar and restaurant. The food was basic but good. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating

Good hotel very close to...
Liked: Hotel offered 24/7 free shuttle to airport. This was not mentioned on the website and we were concerned because we had to leave the hotel at five AM.

Liked: Good service in the breakfast area.
Disliked: Couldn't turn on the heat in my room - in March! The breakfast was dried scrambled eggs, cold bacon, cold potatoes.

Not with the cost anymore
Liked: There were a few staff members that we enjoyed and make the stay worthwhile. Otherwise, there wasn’t much we liked about our stay this time.
Disliked: Lots of things. One working elevator. Club level wasn’t at club level, they are every short staffed and can’t man the club level room, so you have to go to the dining room, which has only one server and we couldn’t find a seat at times, and the club level is only from certain time to a certain time. So when we did get a seat we had limited time to eat. Cooler/heater in room didn’t cool down. But the hallways and other areas of hotel were working. We had to leave window open to cool the room down to be comfortable, otherwise it was almost 80 degrees in our room. They couldn’t move us due to full rooms and we were told they aren’t fixing HVAC, as they are doing renovations anyway, basically. We had to fight for a parking spot, that they make us pay for daily, yet a card convention was going on and all of those people were rising up spots, for free. (Left security gates that open and close and need a code to exit up all day for them). This hotel has gotten worse over the last couple of years and it’s sad. We will probably be going elsewhere, especially due to cost and lack of service and amenities we pay extra for.

Surprised at the lack of...
Disliked: Window did not close, wind whistled all night, bathroom faucet came out of the wall, walls so thin we could not sleep because of loudly talking guests and then a very loudly snoring and snorting guest. We called and asked for an extra blanket because we were cold and it never came. We went to dinner and asked for a fork to go with our meal and it never came so we ate the entire meal with a knife. The carpets smelled very bad. For the price breakfast should have been included. We mentioned all of the above to the clerk at checkout and asked if we could have a container of yogurt or some other small item from the breakfast buffet to make up for some of that discomfort, and he just ignored us and checked us out. We would really like to have something of a refund.

Over priced and dirty
Liked: location
Disliked: The room and facilities were dirty and unkempt. There was a foul odor like sewage in the hotel.
