Comfortable stay with great food...

Liked: I recently stayed at this motel while in town for work and had a great experience. The rooms were comfortable, making it easy to relax after long days. The on-site dining options were convenient and delicious, which I really appreciated. The management was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, adding a nice personal touch to the stay. Overall, it’s a great spot for both comfort and service. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable place to rest and eat.
Disliked: Not too much to complain about.

I would not advise staying...

Liked: It was adequate but I did not like the fact that they REQUIRE everyone to place a $100 deposit down in case damage is done or you smoke or you bring a pet. I am 70 years old and I don’t lie or trash places where I stay. They must have been burned by someone before and now everyone is considered suspicious. No other place that I stayed in the week I traveled through Ontario did such things and they were much nicer places.
Disliked: See above. I slipped and fell in the bath tub because it had no grippers. I tried to tell them that they needed to make the bath safer. That was the first time in my life that I fell in a bath tub. I injured my back/ribs, arms and hips and had to go to urgent care for X-rays. All the manager (?) said was that there was a mat hidden away in the room somewhere and no apologies. When I asked if I could stay in the room 15 or 20 minutes after check out time to let the painkillers kick in, I was told I would be charged $25 if I stayed more than 30 minutes. No apologies at all. Makes me wonder why such people want a job dealing with the public. Coffeemaker was dirty so I did not use. Not my job to clean it up. I’m just glad I didn’t hit my head on anything when I fell. I could have died. Manager did not seem to grasp the importance of this and wanted to blame me for not finding the hidden bath mat. What a way to end my vacation.

Liked: I loved the ease of restaurant with this motel, the food was great and the owners/staff were really kind. Anna was lovely and always available to answer questions. The check-in and check-out process was simple.

Liked: Just wanted to share our experience for staying 1 night at this motel!! We found it's NOT really worth it to pay for the price of $163+ of this motel at all. The motel is old and the facilities are not as good as we thought(with this price and the pictures that mentioned on the site). The bedsheet and comforter were not too clean and with some yellowish colors on them. Thank God we bought our own pillows. And the washroom was not equipped and the hand soap was crappy. We took so long to wash off the smell and slimy feel on our hands! And the water was so stinky (probably the pipes were so old) that we had to use our own water to brush our teeth! And we're afraid to use their towels also. And there's a door near the washroom that wasn't locked and we opened it then there's a hallway that can exit to their kitchen and/or to the back of the building. We found it so creepy and NOT safe at all!! So overall we found it's NOT really worth it how much we paid for it at all! So we definitely would not be coming back again to stay there again!! Thanks.

Liked: We did not eat breakfast at the motel but rather stopped on the road at another restaurant. The staff at the motel was friendly but their English was hard to understand at times. We only stayed overnight so this motel met our needs.
Disliked: I found the mattress a little too soft for me.
