Disliked: The bed and pillows smelled like smoke also hard bed and pillows Bathroom was old needs to be updated also leacking up the sink or near to toilet

Why go to Shellharbour?

Liked: It is an "old"/70s two storey motel. Authentic 70s bathroom. Pretty well maintained. Bed was comfortable. TV had free movie channels. Tea and coffee facilities. Room a good size.
Disliked: There were 3 people on the booking but only 2 towels. There were 2 teaspoons and no other cutlery. No wine glasses. Shower had a curtain, not a door. Soundproofing was poor. We were all kept awake by noisy guests in the room above. It was like being inside a drum. Location is not great. There is nothing to walk to, you have to drive. Entry from the north involves a U turn across a busy road and exiting to the south involves going up a side street to do a U turn. There is a restaurant but it is closed on weekends! ?Value was not great all things considered but it was the only choice that night. Would avoid it if possible.
