Liked: We liked it because it was so authentic and comfortable

Fun western decor within walking...

Liked: Property and room was very clean. Many extra little touches such as wine glasses and wine opener in the room. Complimentary snacks, coffee, water, etc. offered in the lounge.
Disliked: The room was a little tight for my husband and I. Not bad for a quick night or two stay, but would recommend a larger room for multiple days. Shower was tight!

Liked: It was a sweet roll &coffee. We were told they opened 6:00. That didn't happen. They got there at 7. They left the office before 8:00 pm. No coffee in the room. We left as soon as we could.

Liked: I absolutely loved the antique decor and country store charm of the lobby and room, check in staff member was very friendly and accommodating, the room was cozy, the parking was optimally located to my room, snacks were available to us in the lobby all night including access to coffee and condiments, and lodge was in a fantastic location close to downtown and our destination visit.
Disliked: The room was classified as an upgrade (free, which I super appreciated), but it was surprisingly still a very small room, and it had a lengthy step across the middle of room, inside the doorway, which is a tripping hazard. I know because I almost broke my ankle on it. The bed was a bit harder that I prefer, but that's a personal preference, not really a fault of the lodge. The room was wonderfully stocked with bath, meal, and hygiene amenities, but was missing plates and silverware.

Liked: I loved everything about the Sheldon Lodge. I was greeted right away by a very courteous woman (my apologies, I do not remember her name). She was very helpful and gave great suggestions for places to eat. The room was so wonderful, clean, and had so much character. I will definitely come back again for another stay.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind.
