Ideal location, will use again

Liked: Stayed here in order to attend the Carabao Cup Final. Ideally located 3 minutes walk from Paddington. Able to book back in for a second night at lower cost after Newcastle’s win!

Liked: The breakfast was great. The location fantastic. It's an older building but was very clean. We were able to leave our luggage before and after check in without a fee. It was a tiny walk from paddington station and lots of restaurants a very short walk from the hotel.

Very poor quality and poorly...

Liked: Very poor quality hotel. We stayed on the 4th floor to which there was 5/6 flights of steep narrow stairs. The noise of people moving around and talking was very bad and sleep was hard to get.The rooms were really basic and not well maintained. The hygiene over all was acceptable but only just. Breakfast was very poor and the quality of products were very low budget. The butter was spreadable butter which to be honest is a no no. The location is excellent and very close to Paddington station. I would only recommend staying here if you were stuck and only needed a bed as it offers little to nothing else

Affordable but disappointing in some...

Liked: Very affordable for London, good location for travelling/exploring. Breakfast included was good - there was enough variety that I didn't feel a need to get the Full English upgrade, though I'm not one for sweet things for breakfast so it was a bit more limited for me. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Shower room very cramped, hard to do anything in there. I had to have the door open all of the time because it would've been too small without that. Granted it's an old building but little in place to block noise from the outside. No water for the kettle as the only source is the sink which is not drinking water. The stairs are very narrow and the steps themselves are not very deep so going up isn't the easiest. Not all of the electrical sockets worked so I had to unplug a lamp to charge my phone (the socket unit itself was coming out of the wall, so not safe anyway) Some parts of the room were damaged like the shower room door. Nowhere to eat food in the room. Oh and the sink had no plug so it was only really useable for cleaning teeth.

Disliked: No bacon included in breakfast, and you can feel the underground every 5 minutes it comes by.

Quick visit to London

Liked: Great location, clean, good price and all required amenities. Right next to pubs shops and restaurants with no through traffic.
